The ladies of MUST Institute of Computer Science, all decked out in traditional Ruyankole attire. The men of MUST ready to go Standing with the groom
John calls himself the old man since he's wearing traditional attire. The bride's family requested that the groom and the best man wear western suits. Robert organized a "taxi" (aka matatu) to bring some friends and family from Masaka. Babies are cute.
This man is the go-between, called the katerarume, which directly translates to "removing the dew". He speaks on behalf of the groom's parents to the bride's parents. The groom is ready. We all lined up sorted by gender, ready to join the introduction party
If you look closely you can see two people walking in the distance to join the introduction. The bride's family welcomes the groom's party with a drink of porridge served in a gourd. It's called "entacweka", and it is made from ground millet, and sweet and a little sour.
I drank it all! The father in all gave a speech!
